Back To Life

I write, when I feel like writing, Nothing intentional, Nor professional, Just like that, I keep writing, Hopping that, someday someone, Who knows nothing about me, Will be able to understand, What I was going through, When I wrote, what they read, The unspoken words of my heart, And the unseen tears of my soul, Will be brought back to life, By the eyes which reads my past….. It’s really hard to remember my past, I always wonder where my memories go, Rarely I find something flashing, Which takes me back to the past, That’s when I decided to lock it down, In the best way that i know, I started writing it down, People around me, found it funny, No problem, im not worried, it’s my life And im happy with the way I live,

What's Soooooo Mighty.....

Mighty nature ??? Ah ah ah… What's so might??? Dark green forest or Clear blue sea? Bright red sun or Deep blue sky? Seasonal rain or Scary marshland? What's so mighty ??? Dark green forest is not green anymore, Trees for wood and animals for skin, Hills to land and Rocks to stones. What's so mighty now ??? Ah ah ah… Clear blue sea is not blue anymore, Garbage dumped and drainage poured, Aquatic organisms take refuge to the shore. What's so mighty now ??? Ah ah ah… Bright red sun is not red anymore, Burning fossil fuel day and night We feed the sun to burn So bright, Tearin ozone to make it bright. What's so mighty now ??? Ah ah ah… Deep blue sky is not blue anymore,  Globalization and industrialization overthrew blue with black,  Now smoke and fog make some loss. What's so might now ??? Ah ah ah… Seasonal rain doesn't count anymore,  Once in a while, it pours somehow, hoping to be of some use, But what we do makes it weep so hard. What's so mighty now...

This Too Shall Pass

This too shall pass...  Irrespective of caste, religion, country or continent.  We all hope for one single solution.  It isn't for global warming,  Nor for conservation of endangered flora and fauna of mother earth.  As always, a selfish motive to survive the recent pandemic illness.  A species that recklessly moved around the face of the earth for centuries,  Claiming to be the most superior race amount all living beings.  Is threatened by the outburst of a virus which can't even be seen with one's naked eyes.  It spreads through Air !  Stay away from strangers !  Close your mouth while sneezing!  Don't touch your nose, mouth or eyes with your bare hands!  Visit a doctor if u fear to have acquired the infection!  Keep your surroundings clean !  Stay indoors !  Etc etc etc... What people already know and don't recollect is,  Darwinian evolutionary theory, Survival of The Fittest...  Follow standard...

Chapter 4 - Who Are You?

As the old lady started crying, I was clueless about how to console her. With little courage, I asked . What happened to your husband ?   And tears started rolling down her eyes like a waterfall. Cursing myself, I pretended like fainting to avoid further awkwardness. Only when I opened my eyes, I realized that I've slept for 12 hours straight under the old fan that rotates only because of the wind blowing through the window, surrounded by patients and the fragrance of medicine that I always hated.   As I looked around for someone to attend me, I saw a nurse bringing in a new patient in stretcher towards my bed. Why are you still here? Vacate the bed now or pay for an extra day if u want to stay. Clueless as usual, I got up and walked towards the nursing station to enquire about the old lady. The doctor told me that she left last night after paying my hospital and medicine bill. I was back on the street, But all of a sudden I was feeling a bit of belongingness. I have bee...

Chapter 3 - Valentines Day

As the lady walked away, I noticed that her basket was full of red roses. What day of the year is it, I asked myself.  With aging, my orientation to date, time and place has gradually disoriented. With the dead turtle laying next to me and waves washing my feet, my vision was going out of focus. The sound of the waves echoed in my head, and the turtle doesn't stink anymore. I tried to get up and I collapsed instantly.  Am I having a Heart attack, Is it some kind of infection from the turtle, Is it a Heat Stroke, Am I Dead  and thousand more questions were running in my mind.  I could envision myself being surrounded by couples dressed in red clicking pictures and talking indistinctly.  Then came the old lady, pushing people aside with her empty flower basket.  I know this man,  she exclaimed. By sprinkling water on my face, she tried to wake me up. I wanted to open my eyes and say hi, but I was not able to. With the help of a local chap...

Chapter 2 - Dog Remembers

As i continued walking along the shore, I was singing aloud " Adadaa mazhaidaa adai mazhaidaa, Azhagaa sirichaa puyal mazhaidaa " and few more songs related to rain. Is that a turtle!!!  I asked myself on sighting a turtle-like structure moving to and fro with the flow of waves in the heavy rain. I remember reading an article about Olive Ridley Sea Turtles who come to the shores of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh during the end of Monsoon season to lay eggs. With the excitement of seeing a turtle laying eggs, I dropped my bag, took off my shoes and started crawling in four legs slowly towards the turtle. As the distance decreased, I was able to notice that it was not swimming but floating on the surface of the sea.  The rain stopped and the sun emerged victoriously over the pale and exhausted clouds. As I was standing there and looking at the nylon fishnet which was strangled around the neck of the poor turtle, I heard a sympathetic voice saying "ethana vatti sonnaalu...

Chapter 1 - In The Beach

I see the army of dark clouds invading the land, while the mighty sun was fighting hard to penetrate through the clouds, the ocean seemed to be overwhelmed with joy on the sign of rains arrival. The blowing Seabreeze was helping people who were running towards shore for shelter, two boys who were involved in a kite battle fleed the battlefield along with an aged samosa vendor who was giving tough competition for the boys in running race. I see few couples marching out while few were marching in towards ground zero. If not for the hyperactive waves, I'm sure one could hear the sound of clouds moving above my head and towards the land.       As I laid flat on the old Tug Boat which was washed ashore during recent cyclone, the first drop of rain fell on my nose. I quickly took shelter on the side of the boat and looked around. It was like the waves and rain were dancing together for the beat and light of thunder and lightning, such a beautiful...

New Year Eve; A Pullback Post...

In times I feel like, I really don't belong to the family I was born and bought up. Life was plain and pleasant till I graduated my High School. Since then I've been making serious decisions on my own every now and then. That has made me the man I am today... "CHAPTER-1" PRESIDENCY (UG LIFE) Yes, the first and foremost of it was joining Presidency in the year 2012. The decision which I initially regretted and finally realised to be the first best decision ever made by me. I didn't have a luxurious class room, Hi5 campus nor hot chicks wandering around. I saw gang wars, bloodshed, strikes and arrests. No college day, no cultural program's, no conference, but we enjoyed every single day of our college life just the way it was. Luckily we had teachers who didn't want us to come to college daily. Usually the college starts at 8.30 for every one, but people like me and Raja used to crawl into the campus around 12 and cooly enter the classroom witho...
